LEAVERS 2024/25
MANY OF OUR STUDENTS START THEIR LDA JOURNEY AT THE AGE OF 3, AND LEAVE US AT 18. THE LDA DOOR IS ALWAYS OPEN, WE LIKE TO THINK OUR STUDENTS WILL VISIT US IN THE FUTURE AND HOPE THEIR DANCE MEMORIES LAST A LIFE TIME.
WE WILL MISS YOU AND ARE VERY PROUD TO HAVE BEEN A PART OF YOUR DANCING JOURNEY.
![]() Katie joined LDA aged 5, and loves Tap! She will miss spending time with her dance teachers and friends and having fun dancing. Katie has another year at LDA before hopefully going to uni. | ![]() Eoin joined LDA aged 8, he loves Jazz as it's upbeat, energetic and he loves learning routines. He will miss the LDA family as it's his second home. He loves the community at show time. He's staying at LDA for another year and then going to Musical Theatre college. | ![]() Lyla started at LDA aged 7. Lyla loves Modern as it gives her a way to express herself through movement, emotion and storytelling. Lyla will miss the community and being able to just be herself at LDA. Lyla will miss in-between classes being able to talk to the teachers and other students. She will finish her A levels then find a uni with a good dance department whilst studying film. |

![]() Laura joined LDA aged 3. She loves Modern & Tap as they are the best to perform on stage. Her favourite memories are the shows. She will be finishing her A levels before going to uni. | ![]() Olivia started at LDA aged 2.5! She loves Tap and Contemporary, Tap because it's so fun and upbeat. She will miss the teachers & dancing with her friends in the show. She is going to do her A levels and hopefully go to study History at uni. | ![]() Emily started at LDA aged 4yrs. Her favourite genre is Modern. She will miss the laughs In Miss Alison's Ballet lesson and getting to catch up with dance friends and Miss Gabby every Friday to de stress from school! The best memories are the shows and the excitement backstage. Emily will do her A levels before going to uni. |
![]() Lily started at LDA aged 4yrs. She loves Ballet as she's been doing it since she was 2 and loves pointe work! Her fondest memories are the shows, dancing with friends and performing in front of an audience. Especially if you get to wear a tutu! Lily will finish her A Levels and audition for Drama school. | ![]() Ellie joined LDA when she was 5 but re joined age12. She loves Contemporary, she will miss being able to make memories with all of her friends in class. She still has another year at LDA, and is hoping to do biomedical science. | ![]() Elena started at LDA aged 3, her favourite genre is Ballet because she loves the classes and improving technique. She will miss preparing for the shows and the supportive teachers. Next year she is going to university. |
![]() Liberty started at LDA aged 10, she loves Jazz & Street as they are more energetic and upbeat styles. She will miss the whole LDA family and how close everyone is. She loves show time, and being part of the company performing at the 02 and Sadler's Wells. Liberty will continue at LDA and dance college before auditioning to study a degree in Dance. | ![]() Natasha started at LDA aged 9, she loves Jazz! She will miss her friends and teachers and how LDA is one big family, her favourite memories are from the show. In Sept Natasha will go into her 2nd year at dance college alongside LDA. | ![]() Isabella joined LDA 3 years ago, She loves Tap as it reminds her of Irish Dancing as a child and Street Dance as she can express herself! She will miss how LDA feels like a family and the amazing teachers. Isabella will finish her A levels and hopefully go to uni! |
![]() Emma started at LDA aged 12. Her favourite style is Jazz because it's energetic although she's always loved Ballet too! Emma's fondest memory was performing at Sadler's Wells with the Dance Company. She is going to uni to study Geography. | ![]() Erin started at LDA aged 2! She loves Jazz & Contemporary because they are so versatile and fun to learn and perform. She will miss learning great choreography with her friends every week. Erin is going to Uni to study media production. | ![]() Sophie started at LDA in Year 8. She loves Jazz as it's so fun, upbeat and lively, there's never a dull moment! Sophie will miss the Friday night classes, they are the best way to end the week with friends. She will attend uni and join any dance societies she can find! |
![]() Lara joined LDA when she was 10 and although the most painful loves pointe work! Her fondest memories are the shows and helping in the younger dance, she will also miss being able to chat to the teachers and seeing friends. Next year she is taking a gap year to work and travel. | ![]() Emily started at LDA aged 9, Tap is her favourite. She will miss the most incredible people from the juniors to the people she sees everyday in class and the fabulous teachers. LDA really is a huge family. Emily will be going to Uni to study Law but also join the dance society! | ![]() Emma started at LDA when she was 5 yrs old! She loves Jazz because of the speed and will miss performing in the shows the most. She will also miss the lessons, especially Modern and the teachers who are incredibly nice! Emma will study for her a levels and hopefully go to uni. |
![]() Josie started at LDA aged 11, although later the teachers and dancers quickly became like a second family. Her favourite style is Contemporary or Ballet. Her favourite part of LDA is seeing friends and the excitement backstage at shows, and working with the younger dancers as an assistant. She is finishing her A Levels are hoping to study Law at Uni. | ![]() Zoe loves Jazz as it's super expressive and high energy while also building my technique and performance ability. The best thing about LDA is the community feel (the friends i’ve made over the years) and the amazing and supportive teaching that have developed my dance so much Zoe is going to Mountview to train in Musical Theatre! | ![]() Samantha started at 10 years old and loves contemporary and jazz. She loves the freedom and experimentation of contemporary and is a big fan of jazz hands. She loved Lewis’s early Saturday morning contemporary sessions after having a Friday night out - he would make us do burpees and enjoyed all of Becky’s sleepwalking stories! She will hopefully go to Warwick university and study history and politics and will keep dancing in the dance societies! |
